Christmas Fayre Menu

To Start
Walter Ewing’s whiskey cured smoked salmon, crab mousse on wheaten bread, capers and dill oil. (GFA)
Spiced pumpkin and ginger soup, toasted seeds, orange crème fraîche. (GF) (V)
Pheasant terrine, apple chutney, cocktail gherkins, toasted sourdough. (GFA)
Mains
Prime roast turkey and ham, herb seasoning, chipolatas in smoked bacon, roast root vegetables, sprouts, roast potatoes, pommes purée, Chablis gravy.
Char grilled 8oz salt aged sirloin steak, balsamic shallots, portobello mushrooms, confit vine tomato, red wine or peppercorn jus served with fries or vegetables and potatoes (£15 Supplement). (GFA)
Char+Mash signature house burger, made using locally sourced beef with smoked bacon, brie and cranberry relish, baby gem lettuce and beef tomato in a toasted sesame bun served with fries and sage salted onion rings. (GFA)
Organic Glenarm salmon en croûte, creamed spinach with soft herbs, asparagus tips, pommes purée, watercress sauce. (GFA)
Roast chestnut, pumpkin and sunflower seed vegan loaf, shallot and sage gravy, sprouts, roast root vegetables, roast potatoes. (VG)

Christmas pudding with brandy cream sauce.

The main floor | 6 to 30 guests
The heart of the house. The Christmas Fayre menu, the full bar, and the buzz of the main floor around you. Enhance the night with a Christmas cocktail tree for the table, a Mix & Mingle beer bucket for the crowd, festive snacks, or anything else from our Make It Merrier options. Let the night run.
HOLD
The big bar | 80+ guests
The big one. Hold, all yours, for the full works party. Drinks tab options available for behind the bar, or keep the Christmas flying buffet circulating, and bring in live music if you want the place lifted and lively. Ask us about the Hold Perfect Package.
VEIL
The terrace | 30 to 80 guests
A wee bit set apart. The screened terrace, yours for the night. Flying Prosecco reception to open, festive canapés or the full Christmas buffet to follow, and exclusive bar service on the terrace. Ask us about the Veil Perfect Package.
VAULT
The Private Room | Up to 20 guests
The room where the good stuff was kept. Our private dining space, yours for the evening. Christmas Fayre or House Favourites, your own table, your own door. Tell us what you have in mind and we will put it together.
